When I read news articles and watch news programs I am regularly struck by the many ways I which feeble minds make their points with half truths and out and out "factually inaccurate" statements. In the world of debate and elegant English there are official terms for these tactics like  non sequitur, red herring and straw man. I am so interested in these mean by which feeble minds attempt to justify actions which are indefensible that I want to learn them and learn how to make a form of argument jujitsu to use these illegitimate means against those who wield them.

Here are the terms I will investigate and incorporate into argue-do or the way of arguments.

Non sequitur

Red herring

Straw man

False equivalence

Ad hominem

Needling

Argument from adverse consequences

False dichotomy

Reductive fallacy

Cliche thinking

Circular reasoning

Bad analogy

Slippery slope fallacy

Reductive fallacy
