Today I will discuss the Ad Hominem. An ad hominem is to attack an argument by attacking the person making the argument. When the person making the argument is discredited then for those using the ad hominem fallacy the argument is also discredited.

The example that prompted this post is in the video below. The most ludicrous argument imaginable made by a guest on Tucker Carlson Tonight, the guest argues that the people advising Trump are "White Nationalist" therefore what ever Trump says in his speech is racist. The guest admits the text of the speech is not racist at all but contextualizes it as racist because he deems anyone connected to Trump to be a racist. This man, Brad Woodhouse, has proven his worth and it together with a Taco Bell lunch will get you nothing but heart burn.

Brad Woodhouse comes on at 3:40 in the clip below.

With a straight face and confidence says that, "The man that wrote the speech, Steven Miller, was a protege of Steve Bannon. Steve Bannon was a leader of the white nationalist movement. His favorite book, one that is a grotesque of grotesque book." And this assertion, based on spurious facts in of itself, is enough to deem the leader of a Western power who celebrates the accomplishments of the West as a racist. The dishonest and utterly fallacious argument made by Brad Woodhouse is beyond belief.
