This is how social unrest is created

There is an astro turf movement to associate Trump with neo-nazi racists that marched against the removal of statues commemorating Civil War losing generals. During the march police vanished and new-nazi's and fascist Antifa clashed violently, a mentally ill white supremacist used a car as a ramming device killing and injuring counter protesters.

In the aftermath only the neo-nazi and white supremacist are facing blame and criticism. Their opinions, ugly and illiberal, are being used as justification for violent repression of their rights as Americans. This will only make people who don't agree with Antifa desperate. As Antifa continues to tie race to violent repression of rights that desperation will deepen resulting in social unrest or worse, another civil war.

I can't understand how leftist believe that their "resistance" to traditional American values and beliefs won't create a resistance to the left. The violent and intolerant way in which leftist enforce "social justice" will just breed hate and the cycle of violence will continue.

Those that believe in individual freedoms and individual responsibility are the only ones who don't breed hate.  All start at different positions, rich or poor, but all have the same opportunity to move up. Those who start poor have a longer road to hoe and how far they go is up to them. The more progress each of us make the shorter the road for our children.
